Personalized Guidance for Navigating Technology
Is Technology Bringing Your Family Together Or Pulling It Apart?
Whether you need to heal your relationship with technology or simply build a better one, we can help.
Our goal at Unplugged Counseling is to help individuals and families build a healthier relationship with technology.
Let Us Help
For Families
Navigating screen time, tech conflict, and digital boundaries, for every age and stage.
For Individuals
Breaking bad habits, managing anxiety, and finding balance with your devices.
For Communities
Workshops, presentations, and consulting for schools, organizations, and groups.
Start with Therapy
Most people don't come to therapy saying 'I have a technology problem.' They come in burned out, anxious, or struggling to connect with their kids, and technology turns out to be closer to the center of it than they expected.
Whether tech is the main thing you want to work on or just part of a bigger picture, therapy might be the right starting point.
Sessions are available through Tava Health, most insurance plans and FSAs are accepted, and no referral is needed.
Get Coached
Coaching is for people who want practical guidance, not a diagnosis. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just ready to be more intentional about technology in your life — this is where to start.
Coaching Options
Individual Tech Coaching
For adults feeling overwhelmed, distracted, or out of control with their devices. We build habits and routines that actually fit your life.
Parent Tech Coaching
For caregivers who want clear, doable guidance, not just rules. We cover limits, monitoring, tough conversations, and family media plans.
Family Tech Coaching
When everyone needs to be on the same page. We work through screen time conflict, set shared expectations, and make it stick.
Not sure which is right for you? Book a 30-minute consult for $40. It comes with a discount code that takes $40 off your first session, so it pays for itself.
About Me
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with three years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families as both a therapist and a coach.
My clinical specialties include:
Technology's impact — on mental health, family systems, and the way we connect with each other
Anxiety — understanding where it comes from, how it shows up, and how to manage it in real life
Communication — helping people say what they mean and actually be heard
Relationships — the dynamics between partners, parents and kids, and individuals with themselves
I'm trained in family systems theory, which means I look at the whole picture — not just one person in isolation, but how everyone in a family influences and is influenced by each other. When technology enters that system, it doesn't just affect one person. It changes the whole dynamic. That's what I'm here to help with.
